BENTON — Bryant’s Morgan Morehead and Benton’s Grace Lyle each fired nine-hold rounds of 43 to take individual medalist honors in a dual golf match at Longhills Golf Club on Monday.

In boys play, Benton’s Nate Smith scored the course for a 7-under 65 over 18 holes to lead his team to victory. The Panthers finished with a team total of 302 to Bryant’s 330.
Austin Harman and Tyler Green led the Hornets with rounds of 78. Brandon Crosby added an 81 with Chase Thornton finishing at 93 to complete the scoring quartet. Chris Harris carded a 98.
For the Lady Hornets, Carley Miller contributed a round of 53. Savanna Cathey finished at 54 with Caitlin Lawson carding a 60.
The match was a make-up from a previously rained out meeting. The Bryant teams were set to compete again on Tuesday at Longhills.
