The Bryant Lady Hornets bring a 2-0 record into their first game in the weather-delayed Cabot Pre-Holiday Tournament at Panther Arena today. The Lady Hornets are set to take on the Watson Chapel Lady Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.
The tournament also includes Benton, Vilonia, Harding Academy, Searcy, Jacksonville and Cabot. Jacksonville took the place of Greene County Tech, which was originally scheduled to play in the tourney but bowed out after the delays forced by the winter weather earlier in the week. The tournament had been scheduled to start on Monday.
That winter weather cost the Lady Hornets a pair of games at the OrthoArkansas/Baptist Health Invitational Tournament at Central Arkansas Christian Academy last Friday and Saturday. The lone game in that tournament was a 65-45 win over Camden Fairview.
The Lady Hornets opened the season with a 61-39 win at Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock.
