The Bryant Lady Hornets freshman volleyball team has suffered one heart-breaking loss after another this season and, on Thursday night, it happened again. At home against the North Little Rock Lady Cats, both games came down to the wire only to have North Little Rock escape with a win, 26-24, 25-21.
Meagan Chism and Imonii Jones each had four kills for the Lady Hornets. Kristin Boyle added three while the team only had four errors out of 52 attacks. Boyle added two solo blocks and Faith Stone had one.
At the service line, Bryant had just two errors on 39 serves. Shannon Stewart came through with four aces. Chism had one as well.
Ray led the team with eight digs. Madi Draper added four but the Lady Hornets had 14 errors trying to dig up North Little Rock attacks.
Bryant will travel to play Conway Blue in its next outing on Monday, Oct. 5.
