LITTLE ROCK — Madison Humbard drilled three goals as the Bryant Lady Hornets junior varsity team collected a 4-0 win over the Little Rock Episcopal Lady Wildcats on Thursday night.
Ashlyn Thompson added a final goal in the match which Bryant dominated, attempting 26 goals to just one by Episcopal, which was saved by keeper Brittney Warner.
Humbard’s first goal came less than seven minutes into the match off a feed from Mary Catherine Selig.
It stayed 1-0 until just before halftime. With :29 left, Humbard took a feed from Rachel Studdard and whipped a shot past the Lady Cats’ keeper to make it 2-0.
The third goal came at the 12:42 mark of the second half. Katheryn Vivar assisted. Thompson’s goal came off a feed from Sierra Edelmann with 7:20 left to play.
Both varsity and junior varsity girls’ teams for Bryant are set to play tonight at home against Russellville.
