The Bryant Hornets won the James King Memorial 7 on 7 Tournament today. The Hornets were undefeated going 6-0 on the day. They beat Hot Springs, Camden Fairview twice, Malvern twice, and Little Rock Catholic for the championship in a game that went to triple overtime.
“It was a tough game but the kids battled and played hard all day,” said Hornets defensive coordinator Steve Griffith.
“We went the whole day without throwing an interception,” noted offensive coordinator Lance Parker. “We really improved from our last 7 on 7 at (Pulaski) Robinson where we only won one game.”
