Blaise Smith scored 16 points to lead the Bryant White Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School to a 33-21 win over Conway Blue Tuesday night.
It was the second win of the season for the Hornets, both over Conway Blue. They’re set to play Lighthouse Charter in their next outing on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Kajuan Robinson added 6 points for Bryant White. Clayton Harbour and Sawyer Holt pitched in with 3 each.
The Hornets broke out to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter and never trailed. It was 20-8 at the half, 29-15 going into the fourth quarter.
“We came out and executed pretty well,” said Hornets coach Heath Long. “We also did a good job overall of defending what they were doing on offense.
“It was a good win for us, now we will get back to work and get ready for Lighthouse next Tuesday,” he added.
