LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant Hornets junior varsity team jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter and held on at the end for a 47-42 win over the Little Rock Catholic JV on Friday night.
The Hornets led 17-11 at the half, 31-26 through three quarters.
Houston Garner led the team with 10 points. Kyle Nossaman added 9, Logan Trudell 7. Brantley Cozart pitched in with 5.
