Evan Lee and Blake Patterson each had three hits as the Bryant Hornets junior varsity team claimed a 12-3 win over the Texarkana Razorbacks JV on Wednesday night.
Devin Dupree started the game with Chase Tucker, Dalton Holt and Justin Emmerling getting some time on the mound as well.
Brandan Warner had two hits and Logan Allen doubled in the game. Lee had a single, double and a triple and, according to head coach Kirk Bock, just a missed a pitch or he might’ve hit for the cycle. Instead of getting the home run that would’ve topped off the accomplishment, he flew out to right.
Bryant scored four runs in the first, two in the second, one in the third and five in the fourth. Texarkana got all three of their runs in the top of the fourth on three hit batsmen and three hits.
