Things came in two’s for the Bryant Hornets’ junior varsity on Monday night.
Jaret Jacobs and Beaux Bonvillain each threw two touchdown passes, Cameron Coleman and Seth Tucker each ran for a score and Devon Davis and Pierce Finney both picked off passes.
As a result of that and more, the Hornets buried the Hot Springs Lakeside Rams JV, 48-13.
Nathan Mayes recovered a fumble for the Bryant defense and Hayden Ray added to the scoring with a 36-yard field goal.
Jacobs’ TD strikes went to Chace Henson and Marvin Moody. Bonvillain’s scoring throws were hauled in by Jordan Gentry and Landon Smith.
On the ground, Coleman dashed 75 yards for 6 then Tucker broke a 70-yarder.
“We played great on both sides of the ball,” stated Hornets coach Clint Shadwick.
The next junior varsity game for Bryant will be Monday, Sept. 29, at home against Little Rock J.A. Fair.
