This year’s banquet celebrating the accomplishments of the 2014 Bryant Hornets football season student athletes featuring Clint Stoerner (former NFL player for the Dallas Cowboys and a former quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks) as the keynote speaker and local celebrity and host on 103.7’s ‘The Buzz’, David Bazzel (a former linebacker for the Razorbacks), as the Master of Ceremonies.
The banquet, sponsored by the Bryant High School football booster Club, will be held Thursday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m., at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 12400 Interstate 30, Little Rock. “The mission of the Bryant High Football Boosters is to promote excellence in our football, increase community interest, recognize the endeavors and achievements of teams and individual athletes, and to assist the football coaches and administrative staff,” said event chair Kendra Boyle. “Fundraising is vital to our organization’s ability to achieve this mission.
“This year’s team and support staff roster was comprised of 107 players, 11 coaches, four team managers, and nine trainers,” she added. “The continued financial support from educational partners, community donors, and parents insures the continued success of the Bryant High Football Program.
