CONWAY — Saturday at Hendrix University, Bryant Lady Hornets Haley Hood and Jadyn Lewis competed in the USTAF National Track Meet to qualify for the Junior Olympics in Humble, Texas, July 21-27.
Hood, who turned in a strong performance in the Heptathlon this spring, placed third overall at Nationals in the high jump with a leap of 5’3″ to qualify for the Juniors.
Lewis also qualified for the Junior Olympics running the 400-meter run in the time of 1:00, a new personnel record.
