Green was individual medalist by two strokes over El Dorado's Wes Webb. Bryant senior Hunter Alford was third with a round of 78 followed by Hornets freshman Austin Harmon at 79. Senior Austin Benning completed Bryant's scoring quartet with an 81 for a team total of 312. Jonathan Kooiman was right there as well, carding an 82.
Bryant won team honors by 10 strokes over Sheridan. El Dorado was third at 334 followed by Arkansas High and Lake Hamilton.
"The guys played well," acknowledged Hornets coach Jim Pennington. "The greens were really slow and they did a good job of adjusting. Everybody was very, very steady. As a matter of fact, all five of our scorers were in the top 10."
The Hornets return to action at Conway where the Lady Hornets will make their 2009 debut on Monday, Aug. 10.
