NORTH LITTLE ROCK – CareLink has announced that it has been awarded a $1,000 grant from Subaru of America Inc. and Meals On Wheels Association of America as part of Subaru’s “Share the Love” campaign. The grant funding will help CareLink Meals-On-Wheels serve nutritious meals to seniors in need during the month of December 2009.
CareLink is a private, nonprofit agency serving older people and their families in Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline Counties.[more]
“This is the season of giving and we are so thankful that Subaru has decided to give back to our program to help us deliver meals to our clients for the holidays,” said Elaine Eubank, President and CEO of CareLink. “This grant truly is a gift.”
Subaru’s “Share the Love” campaign will run from Nov. 21, 2009, to Jan. 4, 2010.
