Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is hosting an Arts & Craft Expo in celebration of National[more] Disability Employment Awareness Month.
The Arts & Crafts Expo will be Thursday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Bryant Goodwill Store in the career center room located at 5914 Hwy 5N.
The Expo will feature works for sale of participants from organizations that serve people with disabilities such as Goodwill, Abilities Unlimited of Hot Springs, along with other organizations. The hundreds of pieces available will make a one-of-a-kind addition to your home while benefiting local artists that face barriers to work due to a disability.
“You don’t want to miss the amazing handiwork of these crafters,” said Goodwill spokesman Susan Crossley. “Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 27. There will be unique handmade arts, crafts, doggie treats, crafts from recycled materials, Christmas items, canvas artwork, and more.”
