JONESBORO — Dylan Hurt, Zach Jackson, Austin Kelly and Alex Shurtleff of Bryant have been chosen to play in the 12th annual Xtra Innings Summer Classic, which will be held July 6-7 at Arkansas State University’s Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field.
The Classic will feature 88 of the top underclassmen prospects from across the state. The prospects have been assigned to four different teams, the Pirates, Ironmen, Lugnuts and Mudcats.
Monday will consist of pro-day activities at Nettleton High School and two 10-inning games at ASU. Games 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be played at ASU on Tuesday.
Kelly is a member of the Pirates (Team 1); Hurt and Shurtleff will play for the Ironmen (Team 2); and Jackson will pitch for the Mudcats (Team 4).
