On Thursday, March 13, around 8 p.m., Bryant Officers responded to the America Best Value Inn for a report of a disturbance in progress. When they arrived on scene, several witnesses said there were gunshots in the area. Officers made contact with one of the parties involved and it was determined that the gunshots were related to this disturbance. No one was injured from the gunshots but investigators were called immediately and began working the scene.
After further investigation, it was determined that the incident was a robbery involving five possible suspects. The victims stated that when they opened the door to their hotel room, the five suspects rushed in and started attacking both victims while taking items from the room. As the suspects fled the scene in two different vehicles, there were gunshots fired from one of the cars. The victims were able to give information about suspects, which has led to four arrests in the case with more arrest still to come.
