The Bryant High School football coaching staff will host the annual “Football for Mommies” on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the fieldhouse adjacent to Bryant High School field.
Registration fee is $10 per person. Those interested in attending should call 501-847-2231. Food and refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away. Participants are urged to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.[more]
“We invited the moms to come learn the game of football in a fun, interactive atmosphere,” said Laryssa Calley, wife of Hornets head coach Paul Calley. “This event is going to be anything but boring.
“Moms are such a vital part of our program and we want to help them understand the sport their child loves to play and support. This is also an opportunity to meet each of the coaches and learn what is expected of their son and the role he plays in this wonderful team sport we call football.
To the moms, Calley said, “Be prepared to laugh, learn and strengthen the sisterhood bonds of Bryant Hornet moms.”
