The Arkansas State University Honors Prize Patrol surprised five seniors and their families on Tuesday, Dec. 16, with prestigious scholarship awards. These deserving Bryant students were named AState Scholars, the top scholarship awarded at Arkansas State University to the best and brightest of each incoming freshmen class. The scholarship recipients are:
Dylan Wolf
Annie Savage
Christina Moore
Katie Maurer
Corianna Blackwell
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have an ACT composite score of 30 or higher and a 3.5 or higher GPA. Prospective students who qualify are also required to submit a student resume and two recommendation letters as part of the application process.
As the top scholarship at ASU, the ASTATE Scholar Award provides $56,000 to each student over four academic years. ASU names approximately 40 ASTATE Scholars each academic year. Five of those are Bryant High School seniors.
