When Randy Harmon decided to become a firefighter, it was the best decision of his life.
"I wished I'd done it years ago," he said.
Harmon, from Benton, became a Bryant fire fighter a year ago.
"I had a desire to do something good for people," he said. "That's basically it. I knew some of the guys in the department there and this looked like the route I needed to go. I like it."
And Harmon likes working with his fellow fire fighters in Bryant.
"The camaraderie with all of the guys on our shift is great," he said. "You know that's a really big deal. When you have a group of people who work as good as these guys do together, you have some fun times and you get to see how they respond on the job. They don't have to be told. It's a whole bonding deal."
