Relay For Life of Saline County is planning a series of events leading up to the annual run on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m., starting in Lewis Stadium in Benton.
This Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a luminaria sale at Landers Chevrolet in Benton.
On Saturday, April 18, a benefit yard sale will be held in the Lexington Park neighborhood in Bryant from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, residents and businesses are invited to hang purple wreaths or banners to “Paint Saline County Purple” from April 19 through May 2.
On Sunday, April 26, the 2015 Relay for Life Survivors luncheon, sponsored by Everett Buick GMC will be held at 12:30 p.m., at the Benton Event Center, 17322 I-30 North. Those interested in attending should RSVP to 501-507-7149 or by email to bchandler@EverettBGMC.com.
