Kristen Dorsey of Bryant, and Tyler Burleson of Brandon, Miss., have announced their engagement and[more] forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Wayne and Toni Dorsey of Bryant. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Jean Chambers of Monticello, and the late Dennie and Iris Dorsey of Bauxite.
She is a 2008 graduate of Bryant High School and a 2012 graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, with her major in speech pathology. She is the founder of Project Lovemore.
She is a High School Student Intern at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
The prospective groom is the son of John and Tammy Burleson of Conway. He is the grandson of Jerry and Susan Sanders of Pine Tree, Ark., and Katherine Burleson and the late William Burleson of Pine Bluff.
He is a 2005 graduate of Camden Fairview High School and a 2010 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, with a bachelor’s degree in church music.
He is the High School Student Director at First Baptist Church in Brandon, Miss.
The wedding is set to take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19 at First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant, with the reception to follow at the church.
