HOT SPRINGS — Angie Dennis was recently chosen to represent Bryant in the next Mrs. Arkansas America[more] Pageant in Hot Springs, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, according to Lynn DeJarnette, Arkansas State Director.
The phases of competition will be interview, swimsuit, evening gown and on-stage question.
Dennis and her husband, Damon, have three children, Brooke, a senior at Bryant High School; Hallie, a freshman at Bryant High School; and Cole, a sixth grader at Bethel Middle School in Bryant.
She is the office manager for her husband’s company, Metal Works Inc., and is also the president of the Bryant High School Band Boosters.
The winner of the Mrs. Arkansas pageant earns a trip to compete in the only nationally-televised pageant for married women, in addition to an array of prizes. The winner at the national pageant will go on to compete for the title of Mrs. World.
As 2013 Mrs. Bryant, Dennis will promote not only the role of the married women today, but her personal platform, music education in schools.
