The Bryant White Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School held the Bryant Blue Hornets eighth grade team of Bethel Middle School to just 2 points in both the first and fourth quarters on their way to posting a 35-14 win on Thursday night at Bethel.
Bryant White broke out to a 9-2 lead by the end of the first quarter with five different players contributing to the scoring. It was 17-8 at the half and 23-12 by the end of the third quarter.
Catrell Wallace led White with 10 points. Arlon Jenkins added 9 and O.J. Newburn 4. Tre’Vun Herron, Darius Kirkwood, Daniel Washington, Colby Washington, Keyshawn Scott and Chandler Stewart scored 2 each.
For Bryant Blue, Jonathan Hall scored 6 points and Will Hope 4. Ethan Loomis and Kayleb West scored 2 apiece.
