Bryant's Aaron Davidson's second official professional start didn't go as well as he might've liked.
On Monday, June 29, Davidson, pitching for the Rookie League Arizona Giants, faced the Arizona Athletics for the second time. In two innings, he surrendered six earned runs on six hits with three walks and a pair of strikeouts.
Davidson avoided taking the loss, however, when the Giants rallied for a 10-9 win. In Davidson's first start, the Giants were leading the A's when he came out of the game but the A's came back to claim a victory.
If the rotation stays the same, the right-hander should get his next start against the Mariners on Monday, July 5.
The Arizona Rookie League plays a half season schedule after an extended spring training.
