Mayorial candidate Jill Dabbs announced she will be making guest appearances to speak to area voters tonight and Thursday.[more]
This evening at 6:30, Dabbs will be at the home of Harold and Rita Dabbs, at 4235 Robinwood Circle in the West Pointe subdivision, to visit with any potential voters and talk about the issues.
"You may have heard that I have filed my papers to run for mayor of Bryant as a Republican, but you may not know why," Dabbs said. "I am a business owner, a wife and a mother of two, who is proud to live in what Money magazine called one of the 100 best communities to live in the United States.
"Our wonderful community can do a better job of managing its growth, preventing flooding and working with our schools," Dabbs said. "It can develop its own economy, so more of our citizens can work here instead of driving every day to Little Rock and it can do a better job of supporting its police and fire services."
She has a website for constituents to view, www.jilldabbs4mayor.com.
On Thursday night, Dabbs will meet the public at 6:30 p.m., at the Western Sizzlin' in Benton for an event hosted by the Jill Dabbs Election Committee.
