The Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District will be hosting a County-Wide Recycle Day on Saturday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. All residents are encouraged to deliver their recyclable materials to the Recycling Center, located at the Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District’s Landfill.[more]
On this day there will be no charge for any of the following recyclable materials: Cardboard, newsprint, white paper, telephone books, steel cans, aluminum cans, large pieces of metal, lawn mowers, appliances, computers, televisions and other electronic waste.
The Recycling Center will also accept plastic soda bottles, milk jugs and laundry detergent bottles that have been rinsed out. Residents are encouraged to bring their household trash at the same time (regular charges for the trash will apply).
