After a fast start, the Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team fell victim to a[more] Conway Blue comeback and, despite a tough second game, lost 13-25, 19-25 at Bryant Middle School gym Monday.
“Reagan Blend started us off strong serving points one through five with three aces,” noted Lady Hornets coach DeAnna Ward. “After that we lost focus.
“We regrouped and played better in the second set,” she acknowledged.
Savannah Schultz served points three to five with one ace to spark the rally.
“I was disappointed with the results,” Ward said. “I was expecting better. We have some great athletes and they practice great. We just need to remember our positions and communicate better.”
The Lady Hornets will get back to action on Thursday, Sept. 6, at Conway White.
