Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute USDA Commodities April 16-17 at[more] the Benton and Bryant Senior Activity Centers.
In Bryant, the distribution will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Noon to 3 p.m. at the CADC Bryant Senior Activity Center at 6401 Boone Road #3. For more information in Bryant, call 501-943-0056 ext. 3.
In Benton, the distribution will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Noon to 3 p.m. at the CADC Benton Senior Activity Center at 210 Jefferson St. For more information in Benton, call 501-315-0645.
The food items to be distributed may include canned pork, boneless ham, peaches, canned peas, canned kidney beans, rotini pasta, orange juice and chicken leg quarters.
All customers receiving commodities must present identification. To be eligible to receive USDA commodities, income guidelines must be met. The income guidelines for this program are based on 130% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Based on these guidelines, a one person household must make less than $14,521 per year to qualify for this program. For each additional family member, add $5,148.
