The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team of Bethel Middle School served up 12 aces as a team to spark a two-game sweep in their match against Anthony School on Monday night.
In a seventh grade match, Anthony School prevailed in three sets.
The eighth grade Bethel team improved to 6-0 with the victory with its next match tonight at Arkansas Baptist. This Thursday, the Lady Hornets play against Conway White at the Bryant Middle School gym.
Reagan Dabbs led the service bonanza with three aces. Tori Allen, Kaycee White and Katelin Cotton had two each. Ashlyn Lee, Lauren Hart, and Lauren Brantley added one apiece.
Maci Morton, Brittney Warner and Regan Ryan contributed two kills each. Lee, Dabbs and White came up with one apiece. Morton added a block and Brantley came up with two digs.
“This was definitely a team win,” stated Bethel coach Melissa Bragg. “Everyone on the court contributed. I am proud of the team they are becoming.”
In the seventh grade match, Ally Benoit, Kenya Rideout, Bailey Cunningham and Madi Draper serves up an ace apiece.
