The city of Bryant will hold a series of town hall meetings to discuss the[more] progress and future of the community and connect with citizens, officials said.
Ward 2 will meet Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 6 p.m. in First Pentecostal Church. Ward 3 will meet Monday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. in First Southern Baptist Church. Ward 4 will meet Thursday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m. in Bishop Park. Ward 1 will meet Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. in First United Methodist Church.
Mayor Jill Dabbs will attend, along with several city employees and department heads. City council members were also invited to attend, said the Mayor.
Topics to be discussed will include updates on upcoming and ongoing projects, such as a Bryant volunteer program, the neighborhood clean-up and the adopt-a-street program.
City clerk Heather Kizer will discuss her goal to make Bryant more accessible for walking as transportation.
“We want to let people know what we’ve been working on and some of the accomplishments that have been made and see what people want changed,” Kizer said.
The panel will listen to input from the community, as well.
“This is an opportunity to connect with those we serve and make ourselves accessible,” Dabbs said.
