In an effort to mark the 10th anniversary of the landmark 1999 football season, Bryant Hornets head coach Paul Calley has invited all members of that team to contact him at the BHS fieldhouse, 501-653-5160.
The 1999 Hornets team went 10-0 in the regular season, capturing a AAAAA-South Conference championship. It was 11-1 overall, only losing to eventual State champion Fort Smith Northside in the second round of the Class AAAAA playoffs. It was the program's first winning season and playoff appearance since 1985.
BryantDaily.com plans to re-run the game stories from the 1999 season every Monday throughout the 2009 campaign, beginning on Aug. 31.
