William Burgess has announced a series of “Meet the Candidate” events leading up to the Nov. 6[more] elections. Burgess is a candidate for Bryant City Council, Ward 2, Position 2.
“I believe it is important to know the people you are voting for,” said Burgess. “It’s not enough just to recognize a candidate’s name. Character is very important. I am holding these events so that the voters can get to know me better. Likewise, I want to get to know them and their concerns in Ward 2 and from across Bryant.”
The events will be held at a variety of restaurants. For convenience, all of the events are being held in Bryant’s Ward 2.
The schedule is:
• Taste of D-Light, Friday, Oct. 19, 5:30 p.m.
• TaMolly’s, Saturday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.
• Whole Hog Cafe, Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
• US Pizza, Friday, Nov. 2, 5:30 p.m.
