RUSSELLVILLE — Kaitlyn Miller, a senior goalkeeper from Bryant, is among 10 players from the Harding women’s soccer team to be named All-Great American Conference.
Harding’s Bethany Sutherland was named GAC Freshman of the Year, Melita Sutherland was named GAC Defensive Player of the Year, and Harding head coach Dr. Greg Harris was named GAC Coach of the Year.
Miller was named second team All-GAC for the third straight year. She has a 13-3-2 record this season. She has a 0.82 goal against average and is averaging 3.6 saves per game. Miller has nine shutouts this season to set a Harding record.
Harding is back in action this evening when it takes on Southern Nazarene in the first round of the GAC Tournament. The Lady Bisons won the GAC regular season championship on Saturday and earned the right to host the conference tournament Nov. 5-7.
