Anna Lowery, a senior forward on the Bryant Lady Hornets soccer team, has been selected as one of five female athletes in the state to receive the Centennial Bank Athletic-Community Service Awards, according to the Arkansas Activities Association.
Lowery and the other scholarship winners, Brittany Brown of Crossett, Faith Brown of Dardanelle, Allison Turpin of Paragould and Tori Vetor of Gentry along with Chad McGonigal of Baptist Prep, Matthew Means of Little Rock Central, William Platt of Paragould, Payton Lee Smith of Corning and Lee Whisenhunt of Kirby will be honored on Thursday, May 26.
A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m., at the Holiday Inn Persidential Hotel in downtown Little Rock. At that time, each winner will receive a plaque plus the $1,000 scholarship check.
