NORTH LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Activities Association announced the head coaches and coaching staffs for[more] the 2012 East-West Tyson/Arkansas Army National Guard/Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Baseball, Softball and Soccer games on June 18-19, 2012.
This marks the 57th anniversary of All-Star competition and the 9th for baseball, softball and soccer.
The All-Star baseball doubleheader will be played at Baum Stadium on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville on Monday, June 18, starting at 5:00 p.m. The All-Star softball doubleheader will be played at Bogle Park on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville on Monday, June 18, starting at 5:00 p.m. The All-Star soccer will be played on Tuesday, June 19, at Razorback Field with the girls’ match starting at 6:00 p.m. and the boys’ match at 8:00 p.m.
The head coach for the East baseball team will be Kirk Bock of Bryant and the head coach for the West baseball team is Randy Loyd of Magazine.
The head coach for the East softball team will be Debbie Clark of Bryant and the head coach for the West softball team is Randy Osnes of Farmington.
The head coach of the East boys’ soccer team is John Proffitt of Nettleton and the head coach of the West boys’ team is Jason Bowen of Siloam Springs.
The head coach of the East girls’ soccer team is Heather Gray of Vilonia and the head coach of the West girls’ team is Chris Pratt of Harrison.
Bock’s East baseball staff will consist of Billy Carter of Forrest City, Dennis Emerson of Poyen and Jeremy Lewis of Viola. Loyd’s West baseball staff will consist of Wes McCrotty of Pottsville, Brad Harris of Lincoln and David Sisson of Magnolia.
Clark’s East softball staff will consist of Chris Cope of Searcy, Susan Wise of Brookland and Jarrod Bailey of Wynne. Osnes’ West softball staff will consist of Heidi Cox of Benton, Brian Butler of Greenbrier and Michael Freeman of Mansfield.
Proffitt’s East boys’ soccer staff will consist of Rusty Densmore of Warren, Walter King of Searcy and Ryan Lawrence of Little Rock Catholic. Bowen’s West boys’ soccer staff will consist of Donald Beeler of Springdale, Richard Nekoranik of Pine Bluff and Stephen Sloan of De Queen.
Gray’s East girls’ soccer staff will consist of Julie Long of Bryant, Steven Quoss of Warren and Joel Shores of Marion. Pratt’s West girls’ soccer staff will consist of Paul Bailey of Hot Springs Lakeside and Kris Clark of Mena. An additional coach will be named to the West staff at a later date.
The 2012 Arkansas High School Coaches Association Coaches Clinic will be held at the East Square Plaza in Downtown Fayetteville, June 19-21.
