CLARKSVILLE — University of the Ozarks cross country runner Caitlyn Bell, a graduate of Bryant High School, was named the American Southwest Conference women’s cross country Runner of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Bell, a freshman from Hensley, won the 5K Arkansas D-III Championship Friday, running a 20:54.5. It was Bell’s top 5K time of the season. She has been the team’s top finisher in four of five races this season.
Bell was an All-State runner at Bryant High School.
She and the Eagles will compete at the ASC Cross Country Championships held Oct. 31 at the University of Texas at Tyler campus.
