LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School won[more] their eighth straight game with ease Tuesday night. At the Anthony School, the Lady Hornets prevailed 44-24.
“I was happy to see everyone get playing time,” said Lady Hornets coach DeAnna Ward. “It was a good game and the girls played hard.”
The Lady Hornets are set to play Lake Hamilton at home on Jan. 24.
Skylar Davis led Bryant White with 13 points and nine steals. Julianna Ward added 9 points, all in the first quarter, to go with four steals and two rebounds. Shayla McKissock pumped in 8 points with two steals and two boards.
In addition, Faith Brown and Carolyn Reeves scored 4 points each with Alyssa Linam, Sharayah Wallace and Lara White adding two apiece. Brown had six steals and three rebounds. Reeves added three rebounds and a steal while Linam collected four boards, Wallace three and White two.
