BAUXITE — The Bryant White Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School opened their season on[more] Tuesday night with a 15-14 win over the the Bauxite Lady Crushers.
“We looked pretty good for the first game of the season,” said head coach DeAnna Ward. “We were able to get everyone some playing time so, hopefully, all those first-game jitters will be gone next week.”
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to return to action at Conway White on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Kennedy Harris led balanced Bryant White scoring with 3 points. Kipperlie Davis, Lauren Lessenberry, Sarah Palmer, Ashlyn Privett, Savannah Schulz, Michaela Presley and Destiny Martin had 2 each.
Davis led with with five rebounds. Harris had four and Lessenberry two.
Martin contributed three steals. Hadley Dickinson and Jadyn Lewis made two apiece.
