CONWAY — The Bryant White Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School got off to a slow start in their season-opening at Conway Tuesday night. Conway Blue, outscoring Bryant White 17-2 in the second quarter, went on to win 37-11.
“They got a big lead early and we never could recover,” acknowledged Lady Hornets coach Caleb Harper.
Meagan Chism and Imanii Jones led Bryant White with 4 points each. Lexi Helton added 3.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to play Conway Blue again in its next outing on Dec. 3.
