CABOT — Opening the season on the road, the Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade volleyball team of Bryant Middle School gave their counterparts at Cabot North Junior High a tussle before the host team extracted a 17-25, 19-25 win on Monday night.
“We just missed two serves,” noted Lady Hornets coach DeAnna Ward. “It was a lot closer than the score shows. The girls played really great. This is a very talented group. They just had some first-game jitters that they need to get over.”
Bryant White returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at home against North Little Rock.
