The Bryant White Hornets eight grade team of Bryant Middle School improved to 10-3 on the season with a 36-12 romp over Little Rock Episcopal Collegiate at the BMS gym.
The Hornets got out to a 16-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and, before it was over, 11 different players contributed to the scoring. It was 23-4 at the half, 30-9 going into the fourth quarter.[more]
Devin Dupree led the team with 7 points. Korey Thompson added 5.
“With 11 different kids scoring, we did a pretty good job of being unselfish,” said coach Heath Long. “Also, no matter the score or the line-up on the floor, we did a good job of playing hard. We were able to get minutes for a lot of guys who don’t normally get many.”
