NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School advanced to the championship game of a tournament at Lakewood Middle School with a 21-3 win over the Bryant Lady Panthers on Tuesday night.
They’ll take on a team from Cabot in the finals this Saturday at 2:20 p.m.
Meagan Chism and Kristin Boyle each scored 6 points for Bryant. Allie Dugan had 4, Allison Steen 3 and Lexi Helton 2.
The Lady Hornets allowed a basket in the first quarter then not another the entire game. Benton added a free throw in the fourth quarter.
Their lead was just 4-2 after a quarter but 7-2 at the half and 12-2 by the end of the third quarter.
