Four members of the Bryant Lady Hornets’ track team will be competing at the University of Arkansas Indoor Invitational meet on Saturday, according to Bryant coach Danny Westbrook.
Haley Hood will compete in the high jump and the 800 meter run while younger sister Bree Hood will also compete in the 800. Jadyn Lewis will compete the 60 meter dash and the 400 meter dash while Hannah Shelby competes in the mile run.
The indoor season for the Bryant boys and girls teams will commence on Friday, Jan. 22 at the Arkansas State University Invitational in Jonesboro. The 5A-7A State Indoor will be held Feb. 6, at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
The outdoor season is set to commence at the Benton Panthers Relays on Tuesday, March 8. The annual Hornet Relays at Bryant Stadium will be Tuesday, March 15.
