The Bryant High School FCCLA Club held a Spring Blood Drive to benefit[more] the American Red Cross on Wednesday, March 2. Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., 138 students signed in to donate. Overall, the Red Cross collected 103 units.
According to Thelma Robertson, FCCLA sponsor, "Red Cross was so overwhelmed by the caring and generousity of the students."
Robertson and the FCCLA members expressed gratitude to the 18 BHS students who volunteered and many more from Red Cross. Several local restaurants also donated food for the volunteers, including Daylight Doughnuts, Strawhat Pizza, TaMollys, Papa Johns of Benton, and Firehouse Subs.
