Central Arkansas Development Council Bryant Senior Activity Center will host a patriotic Stars[more] and Stripes variety show on Monday, July 2, at 7 p.m. The general public is invited to attend.
The event will feature singing, dancing and comedy acts and will be hosted by Elmer and June Childress. Elmer formerly hosted a family-style singing show at an NBC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas for more than 20 years.
Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door. All proceeds from the event will support the meals for seniors service at the center.
The Bryant Senior Activity Center is located at the new Bishop Park Complex, 6401 Boone Road, #3. The program gives older adults support and encouragement to reach new levels of independence, fostering educational and emotional wellness for persons 60 and older. Activities include exercise, social interaction, nutrition, transportation services, recreational events, book clubs, computer training, and more.
