The Bryant High School basketball teams begin the first of three tournaments scheduled for this season when they open play in the 2015 OrthoArkansas/CAC Basketball Tournament at Central Arkansas Christian High School on Mustang Mountain.
The Lady Hornets play the first game of the tournament against Valley View at 4 p.m. The Hornets follow up at 5:30 against 7A/6A-Central Conference rival Catholic High of Little Rock.
Both Bryant teams will play Maumelle on Friday at the same times. On Saturday, they’ll take on the host CAC team, girls at 5 p.m., boys at 6:30.
The Lady Hornets will also play in a tournament in Morrilton starting with a game against Clarksville on Wednesday, Dec. 9, while the Hornets compete at the annual Jammin’ For Jackets tourney at Little Rock Hall starting with a game against Little Rock McClellan on Thursday, Dec. 10.
In the week between Christmas and New Year’s, the Lady Hornets will play in a tournament at Beebe, opening against Brookland on Monday, Dec. 28. The Hornets will travel to Fort Smith for the annual Coke Classic where they’ll open against North Little Rock on the same day.
Both Bryant teams are 2-0 going into the CAC tourney.
