The Bryant White Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School ran its record to 10-0 on the season with a 43-5 win over the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School Thursday night.
Ivory Russ led White with 10 points. Tierra Trotter added 9. Tyianna Robinson, Celena Martin, Madalynn Thompson and Gianni Hulett each scored 4 points. Madyson Scifres, Alivia Allen, Olivia Orr and Mekeycia Baker added 2 apiece.
For Blue, Casey Welch scored 3 points. Cali Rogers and Cameron Ausbrooks finished with 1 each.
Bryant White closes out the season this Saturday in a tournament at Cabot, opening at 10 a.m., against North Little Rock Lakewood. The Lady Hornets will play Cabot North at noon to complete pool play. If they win their pool, they’ll play for the tourney championship at 3 p.m.
Bryant Blue, 3-6, is scheduled to host Lighthouse Charter on Monday, Feb. 9, before closing out the season against Cabot North at home on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
