The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School ran its record to 7-0 on the season with a 43-24 win over the Cabot South Lady Panthers at the BMS gym on Tuesday night.
Ivory Russ pumped in 17 points and Celena Martin had 15 to lead the way. Tiyanna Robinson pitched in with 6 points with Tierra Trotter and Madyson Scifres had 2 each and Sierra Trotter 1.
“It was a very physical game,” said Lady Hornets coach Kenny Hays. “I’m proud of our players for keeping their composure while still playing with a lot of intensity. Once again, it was a great defensive effort from the entire team.”
Bryant White is scheduled to play next against Bryant Blue at Bethel Middle School on Thursday.
