The 2014 Bryant Dance Invitational will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Bryant Middle School gym. Area dance squads on the junior high and high school levels will be competing.
The Junior division begins with individual and ensemble competition at 9 a.m. Doors open at 7 followed by a coaches/captains meeting at 8. There will be a welcome from Bryant athletic director Mike Lee along with the National Anthem at 8:45.
The Junior team division competition commences at 9:30 a.m. Teams will be competing in Jazz (9:33), Kick (10:18), Hip Hop (10:30) and Pom (11:33). There will also be a special performance at 1 p.m., by the Dancer’s Edge Competition team at 1 p.m., just prior to the awards ceremony for the Junior level.
The pre-competition ceremonies for the varsity level will begin at 2:45 p.m., following the coaches/captains meeting at 2.
The individual and ensemble competition is set for 3. Team competitions get underway at 3:40 with Jazz. Kick begins at 4:07, Hip Hop at 5:18 and Pom at 6:33.
