October is Fire Safety Month. To show appreciation to the community and to provide information and increase awareness about fire safety, the Bryant Fire Department will host Fire Fest 2009.
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bryant Fire Department’s central station on Roya Lane.[more]
“This is our way of saying ‘Thanks’ [to the community] for their continued support, as well as get the word out about fire prevention,” said Cox.
The event will be free to the public. Demonstrations of different fire rescue techniques will be conducted in the morning. Air rides, a train ride and other activities will be available for kids. Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be available.
